BELLAGIO PENTHOUSE
BAYWATER DRIVE, WENTWORTH POINT
The Bellagio, located on Baywater Drive, Wentworth Point is a double-storey apartment that was built in 2013. It is a space that is modern, exciting and vibrant. This apartment needed to provide the client with a large open floor plan and plenty of useable space.

Retaining the original ceiling, windows, and doors was crucial to the apartment's design and layout, and all joinery was custom-made to help achieve a practical yet comfortable design. As it connects the lower and higher floors of the apartment, the specially created staircase is an important design element that also improves the room. An open floor plan with a sizable kitchen, dining room, and living room, as well as a sizable balcony with a bespoke pergola, creates a seamless transition between the indoor and outside on the lower level.
All of the private and private areas are on the second floor. Each bedroom features a private bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. The rooms are well-proportioned, with more than enough room for two people in each, and the design's consistent use of materials gives the customer the desired appearance.

All the aspects, such as the organization of the different areas, the interior architecture, the selection of the works of art, the pieces of modern furniture and the finishes were carefully taken into account.

A large modern hallway welcomes you at the entrance of the penthouse and leads to the dining area and the sublime outdoor area where you can see the panoramic views of Wentworth Point, giving the impression of floating in the sky. Accessible from the dining room, the kitchen has a two-meter marble island.
Take a quick step through the bi-fold door onto your balcony. It is open and inviting, with panoramic views of the sea. You are surrounded by quiet. Take it all in with a glass of wine as you recline on the modern outdoor chairs, the modular pieces pushed together like a sofa and upholstered in timeless black and white. Gaze over the edge of the railing and you will see your painted custom pergola.

The living room, which uses a balance of natural tones, wood, and stone, feels very in touch with nature. In a way, it is a modern take on what one might feel while sitting in a forest. To keep the space from feeling too dramatic pops of playful blue stand out on the comfortable sofa. The view from the living area out into the hallway is a unique one. It feels as if you are looking toward the sun, even though it is only a uniquely placed lighting sconce. The floor plan is open and airy, with plenty of storage and shelving in the study area. It is a practical yet beautiful workspace, with dual desks and a gorgeous view. The recessed lighting, coupled with the white walls and polished floor, make the room appear to glow.

PRECEDENT 1
DOLLAR PAY PENTHOUSE / LONDON

Complimenting the striking architecture and creating a harmony between the exterior and interior elements were integral to the style and design of this luxury residential development. Dollar Bay sits in a glamorous enclave where elite fashion brands, high-end dining, leisure and charismatic nightlife come together to offer a cultured and cosmopolitan lifestyle.
Suna Interior Design carefully considered every design decision to reflect this aura of affluence and style, typified by the building’s opulent surroundings. The unusual space with large glazing panels displayed incredible views across Canary Wharf and linked the ensuite to the generous winter garden which wrapped around the perimeter of the rooms.
PRECEDENT 2
MELFORT TOWNHOUSE

While embodying a decidedly contemporary architectural expression, Melfort by Conrad Architects reimagines a grand Georgian-style residence as five townhouses with a deep respect for site heritage and context. Director Paul Conrad says the project exemplifies his practice’s commitment to pursuing architecture that is classically minimal and restrained, yet layered with a depth of emotion, sensitively balancing the heritage and the contemporary.
The interior design was approached with a distinctly European sensibility. Restrained, yet with moments of fine detailing. A soft, neutral palette is expressed through oak flooring and kitchen joinery; with Cararra marble used throughout kitchens, bathrooms and ornate fireplaces. The joinery was consciously conceived as distinct furniture pieces, reading as contemporary furniture elements within a historical interior.
